He is a seasoned entertainer having performed in the spotlight as a professional DJ at hundreds of gatherings, weddings, and celebrations. Mike’s “Dance Party” play list is wide and varied, everything from yesterday’s 50’s & 60’s Rock n’ Roll, thru the Disco and Pop hits of the 70’s 80’s and 90’s, to today’s top favorites, Country, R&B, Hip Hop, and Carolina Beach Music He has played the annual Beach / Shag Party in Beaufort for the past 14 years.Mike’s specialty is in planning and entertaining at Charleston area wedding receptions.

He may be found one weekend at the Sand Dunes Club on Kiawah or on Seabrook Island, or at Magnolia or Middleton Plantation.  Or you might find him stirring up a celebration at Wild Dunes in Mt Pleasant or on the Isle of Palms.  Any where you find Mike you are sure to find people having a great time dancing, partying, and celebrating.In Mike’s words:  “There are many DJs to chose from.  I believe the difference between a good DJ and a great DJ is knowing what to play… and when to play it.”  This is something Mike has learned with experience.

On your wedding day, in addition to providing the very best variety of music,  Mike will act as your MC… making all the essential announcements in leading your wedding party through all the traditional wedding reception festivities.   From the time the first guests arrive to the time you depart on your honeymoon, Mike makes sure the “flow” of the event runs smoothly and according to a reception plan drawn up in advance, with you. At the event Mike coordinates the event by providing this reception plan to the photographer, the caterer, etc. so all the key people know “what and when” …no one is ever left wondering, “What do we do next?” Generally, Mike will follow a “traditional” reception plan…  if that is what you desire. Highlights include the Introduction of the Wedding Party, the First Dance, the Father Daughter Dance, The Wedding Party Dance, the Wedding Toasts, Cake Cutting ceremony, the Bouquet toss, and the “Send off”.Mike maintains the highest degree of professionalism, integrity, and class…  All music is “radio edit” quality… No profanity, no embarrassing lyrics.

Attire is a Black Tux for formal events, Coat and Tie for semi-formal, and Tropical Shirt for casual.  The sound equipment is the very finest in the industry.  Clear, quality, digital sound.   Sony, Bose, Mackie… Wireless microphones, and on stage lighting is included at no additional cost.   Keep in mind… Unlike other “DJ Services” who might send any  DJ from their “pool” of  DJs… Mike Greene, will help you plan your event and Mike Greene will be the DJ/MC there, at your reception, entertaining your guests.
